Discover our mission, the people behind GFA, and the international collaborations that make our work possible
Global Frontier Academy (GFA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making cultural heritage knowledge accessible to everyone.
Working at the intersection of public education, architectural conservation, and emerging technologies, GFA creates opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to engage with cultural heritage. Through introductory training, hands-on workshops, field-based programs, and international exchanges, we help individuals develop the knowledge and practical skills to understand historic places, recognize their cultural significance, and make informed judgments about their preservation and future.
Serving as a bridge between America, Europe, and Asia, GFA brings together communities, educators, students, researchers, and practitioners to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience across cultural and geographical boundaries. By extending heritage education beyond traditional academic settings, we aim to cultivate a broader public understanding of preservation and empower people to participate meaningfully in shaping the cultural environments they inherit and share.
